PRIVACY POLICY ASKY Last updated: 15 October 2026 1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE Artur Voznickij, trading as ASKY, in the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data processed through this store. Privacy contact: askyprod@gmail.com Our business address and other seller details are provided on the Seller & Contact page. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the website, purchase a beat license, access downloads or contact us. 2. INFORMATION WE PROCESS Depending on how you use the store, we process: • Contact information, such as your email address and any name you provide. • Order and license information, including purchased beats, license types, prices, currency, payment status, transaction references and order dates. • Purchase records, including the license terms accepted, acceptance timestamps and your request for immediate digital delivery. • Delivery information, such as order-access credentials, generated license agreements, download requests and delivery status. • Correspondence, including messages and attachments you send when requesting support. • Technical and security information, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, requested pages and error records processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers. The store also uses an IP-derived identifier to limit abusive requests. This is used for security rather than advertising. You can browse the catalog without creating an account. Customer accounts are not required to purchase. 3. PAYMENTS Where purchasing is available, payments are handled through Stripe. Stripe collects the information required for the chosen payment method and may process billing details, device information and fraud-prevention signals. ASKY receives information needed to recognise and fulfil the order, such as payment status, transaction identifiers and customer contact details. Our store does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code. Stripe also processes some information for its own purposes, including regulatory compliance and fraud prevention, as explained in its privacy notice. 4. WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use personal data for the following purposes and legal bases: CONTRACT AND PRE-CONTRACT STEPS To process requested purchases, verify payment, issue licenses, deliver files, restore authorised download access and answer order-related questions. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS To maintain required accounting and tax records, meet applicable legal duties and respond to lawful requests from authorities. LEGITIMATE INTERESTS To secure the website, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, maintain evidence of license rights, handle complaints and establish or defend legal claims. Our interests are operating a reliable store and protecting customers, rights holders and the business. We consider the effect on your privacy and limit the information used for these purposes. CONSENT Where an optional activity legally requires consent, we will request it separately. You may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Acceptance of this policy is not a blanket consent to every use of your information. 5. INFORMATION REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AN ORDER We need sufficient payment and contact information to process your purchase and deliver the licensed files. If you do not provide information necessary for the transaction, we may be unable to complete the order or provide secure access. Please provide accurate details. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages. 6. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND OTHER RECIPIENTS We share information only where necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The store’s infrastructure includes: • Vercel — website hosting, request handling and operational logs. • Supabase — database services and administrator authentication. • Cloudflare R2 — storage and delivery of files, including license agreements containing order and customer information. Where purchase and email delivery integrations are enabled, we also use: • Stripe — payment processing and payment-related fraud prevention. • Resend — transactional emails, such as order and download notifications. Support correspondence is handled through our email provider. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive relevant information where necessary for accounting, legal obligations or legal claims. Providers may use authorised subprocessors. Some recipients, including payment providers and authorities, may act as independent controllers for their own legally defined purposes. We do not sell personal data or provide customer lists to beat collaborators for their independent marketing. 7. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING Our providers may process information in the European Economic Area and other countries, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is required. Depending on the provider and destination, this may involve an applicable adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards where necessary. Contact askyprod@gmail.com for information about the safeguards applicable to a particular transfer and how to obtain a copy. We do not promise that all information remains exclusively within the Netherlands or the EEA. 8. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for its purpose and applicable legal requirements. Accounting and tax records are generally retained for at least seven years where Dutch retention rules apply. Particular records may require a different period; for example, relevant One Stop Shop VAT records may need to be kept for ten years. License agreements, acceptance records and proof of purchase may be retained while needed to administer an active license and subsequently where necessary for legal obligations or claims. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the enquiry and handle relevant follow-up or disputes. Technical logs and security records are retained according to their operational purpose and the applicable provider settings, with longer retention where necessary to investigate an incident or meet legal requirements. Expiry of a download link does not automatically erase the underlying order or license record. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Information retained in backups remains subject to restricted access and the applicable backup lifecycle. 9. COOKIES AND LOCAL PROCESSING The store uses necessary cookies or similar mechanisms for functions such as administrator authentication and secure access to purchased orders. Payment providers may use their own necessary security technologies. We do not currently use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising in the storefront. Purchasing does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails. The audio-reactive background analyses the playing preview within your browser. It does not access your microphone or record audio from your surroundings. Further information is provided in the Cookies Policy. 10. SECURITY We use measures intended to protect personal data, including restricted administrator access, private storage and expiring download access. Keep order-access links private. Anyone who obtains a valid access link may be able to access the associated order. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your order or personal data. 11. YOUR RIGHTS Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to: • Access your personal data and receive a copy. • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information. • Request erasure or restriction of processing. • Receive eligible information in a portable format. • Object to processing based on legitimate interests. • Withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights are subject to legal conditions. For example, we may need to retain an invoice despite an erasure request. Send requests to askyprod@gmail.com. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. Requests are normally free of charge. We will respond within one month. Where the law permits an extension because of the complexity or number of requests, we will explain this within that first month. 12. AUTOMATED PROCESSING ASKY does not use customer profiling for behavioural advertising or operate an automated credit-scoring system. Security tools and payment providers may perform automated checks to detect suspicious activity. Contact us if you believe a security or payment decision has incorrectly affected your order. 13. COMPLAINTS AND UPDATES You may contact us about any privacy concern at askyprod@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or another competent data-protection authority. You do not need our permission to do so. We may update this policy when our processing changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
